Surya releases the trailer of Karthi's 'Dev'

After two back to back hits at the box office like 'Dheeran' and 'Kadai Kutty Singam' Karthi is all gearing up for the release of his upcoming film 'Dev'. The full album of the film was released earlier and was well received by the audience. The film has also been dubbed to Telugu owing to actor Karthi’s market in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
The film's Tamil Nadu theatrical rights have been acquired by Murali Cine Arts and the Karthi took to Twitter to announce that the film has been cleared with a 'U' certificate and also to confirm the release date on February 14 marking the occasion of Valentine's Day.
A recent update is that the film's trailer was released by actor turned producer Suriya and brother of Karthi through his social media handle.

Lakshman of Prince Pictures is bankrolling the project and the film will portray the lives of an adventure junkie with a bit of love and action sequences. Touted to be a travel subject, director Rajat Ravishankar will be making his directorial debut with this film which has cinematography by R.Velraj.
Karthi and Rakul Preet Singh play the lead roles and will be teaming up once again for the second time after 'Dheeran Adhigaram Ondru'. The film also has Prakash Raj, Ramya Krishnan, VJ Vignesh and Amrutha Srinivasan. 'Navarasa Nayagan' Karthik has been roped in to play a cameo.
