Suriya's 'Singam' to be remade in Punjabi

In 2010, director Hari and actor Suriya teamed up for 'Singam' which went on to become a blockbuster hit at the box office. Since then the 'Singam' franchise had two sequels.

The movie was remade in Hindi by director Rohit Shetty in 2011, with Ajay Devgn playing the lead. Later, the film was remade into Kannada and Bengali. Now, according to reports, the film will soon be remade in Punjabi with Ajay Devgn stepping in as the co-producer.

Directed by Navaniat Singh the film will star Parmish Verma and Sonam Bajwa in lead roles. Harmeet Singh will be in charge of the cinematography.
