Suriya's 'Kanguva' to release on over 500 screens in Kerala

'Kanguva' starring Suriya in the lead role is gearing up for a grand theatrical release and the film is slated to release on November 14. 'Kanguva' is planned to be a multi-lingual release, and the makers have turned on their promotion to hype the audience for the periodic. A popular distributor, who released Rajinikanth's 'Vettaiyan' in Kerala, has occupied the Kerala distribution rights of Suriya's 'Kanguva' for a whopping price. As the expectations are high for 'Kanguva', the distributor aims to release the periodic action drama on more than 500 screens in Kerala, and the distributor confirmed the release plan during the recent interaction with the Press and Media. Over 100 fan shows have been planned for 'Kanguva', and it's going to be the biggest release for Suriya. The highly-anticipated film is positioned to have a record opening at the box office.

Directed by Siruthai Siva, 'Kanguva' will connect the present with 500 years back, and Suriya plays a dual role. Disha Patani plays the female lead, while Bobby Deol plays the antagonist. With two Bollywood stars making their Kollywood entry, 'Kanguva' also features Natty, Kovai Sarala, Yogi Babu, Aarash Shah, and Redin Kingsley in important roles. Vetri has handled the cinematography, while the editing is done by Nishadh Yusuf.

Devi Sri Prasad is scoring the music, while the recently released single track 'Yolo' is receiving a better response on musical platforms. The grand audio launch of 'Kanguva' is scheduled to happen on October 26, and the star-studded event is anticipated to boost the film's buzz further.
