Suriya actively engages with his fans through regular fan meetings, offering encouragement to his followers. Notably, he consistently supports his fans in times of need through his Agaram Foundation. Recently, the actor displayed his compassionate side by visiting the home of his deceased fan, Manikandan, in Villupuram. Manikandan, a young admirer of Suriya, tragically lost his life in a road accident.
Expressing his condolences to Manikandan's grieving family, Suriya not only paid his respects but also pledged financial assistance to support them during this difficult time. In a heartfelt gesture, Suriya was captured showering flowers on Manikandan's photograph during the visit, accompanied by his friend and partner, Rajasekar Pandian.
Having recently relocated to Mumbai, Suriya returned to Chennai a few days ago and has been actively involved in various community engagements. Apart from consoling Manikandan's family, he also visited the residence of the late director KV Anand, who directed three films featuring Suriya. During this visit, he extended his wishes to the late director's daughter on her recent engagement, presenting a thoughtful gift and capturing a memorable moment with her and her fiancé.
In terms of his professional commitments, Suriya has completed shooting for Siruthai Siva's directorial 'Kanguva' and is set to commence work on his upcoming film with Sudha Kongara in the near future.
