Suriya unveils Vellai Pookal first look poster

On Friday morning, actor Suriya released the first look of the film

Vellai Pookal

, which has

Vivekh

in the lead. Suriya also tweeted the first look posters from his official Twitter handle and congratulated the core team behind the film which is mainly based out of the US.

Vivekh sports a completely different demeanor in this film and his salt-and-pepper look in the poster shows him in a never-seen-before avatar. The film which is said to be a thriller will see Vivekh playing the character called Rudhran, who’s a retired police officer from Tamil Nadu and is spending time in the US with his son and daughter-in-law there. Though he finds it a bit difficult to get adjusted to the new place initially, his interest slowly turns to a case of missing persons. And that forms the crux of the story.



The film which has Pooja Devariya and Charlie playing key roles in it will be released in Tamil Nadu on April 19. The film is directed by Vivek Elangovan, a techie who’s based out of the US and the film’s editing is done by the national-award winning editor Praveen KL.
