Suriya tests COVID negative for COVID-19; to resume work soon

Suriya tested positive for COVID-19 a few weeks back. He was admitted to a private hospital. The actor returned home after a few days of treatment and asked everyone to be cautious. Later, his brother and actor Karthik shared an update about Suriya's health and said that the actor is under home quarantine. Now, Suriya has been tested COVID negative and will resume work soon.


Suriya's friend and director of Suriya's production house 2D Entertainment, Rajsekar Pandian has confirmed the report on his Twitter page and thanked the fans for their prayers. Meanwhile, The shooting of Suriya's 40th film, which is directed by Pandiraj, kick-started without the actor a few days back. The film began with a formal pooja, and the director has begun the work on an auspicious day.


After being tested negative for COVID-19, Suriya is expected to join the film shooting shortly, and we can expect the makers to share a photo of Suriya from the film sets. Priyanka Arul Mohan will be seen as a female lead, while Sathyaraj plays a key role.
