On the special occasion of New Year today, actor
Suriya released the teaser of RK Suresh’s
Visithran. The film is a remake of the Malayalam hit,
Joseph
, which had Joju George in the lead and was directed by M Padmakumar. Sharing the teaser on his social media page, Suriya wrote, “Here’s the teaser of #DirectorBala Anna’s #Visithiran https://youtu.be/8uj-SepmBTw @bstudios_offl @gvprakash @studio9_suresh @shamna_kasim @iamMadhuShalini @yugabhaarathi @vetri_DOP @editorsuriya @onlynikil.”
The Tamil version too is directed by Padmakumar, who helmed the original. Going by the teaser, it looks like the film has stuck to the plot of the original. The star cast for Visithran includes RK Suresh, Poorna, Madhu Shalini, Ilavarasu, Marimuthu, Bagavathi Perumal and JP as part of the star cast. Music for the film is by
GV Prakash, cinematography by Vetri Mahendran and editing is by Sathish Suriya.
