Suriya produces Jyothika’s film for the third time

Jyothika’s last release ‘Kaatrin Mozhi’, directed by Radha Mohan and produced by G Dhananjayan received good reviews from public and critics alike. The cast included Vidharth and Lakshmi Manchu.

, who directed ‘Gulaebaghavali’, ‘Kaathadi’ and ‘Katha Solla Porom’. Interestingly, this will be the the third time, Suriya’s production house, 2D Entertainment will be producing Jyothika’s film. Suriya had earlier produced Jyothika's '36 Vayadhinile’ and ‘Magalir Mattum’. Suriya and Jyothika have acted in 7 films together- Poovellam Kettuppar, Uyirile Kalanthathu, Kaakha Kaakha, Perazhagan, Maayavi, June R and Sillunnu Oru Kadhal. Suriya made a guest appearance in June R. Though the duo didn't act together in movies after they tied the knot, they have beeing teaming up as producer-actor.

The third venture of the husband-wife duo is expected to be a slapstick comedy. The film which began with a puja today has Revathi, Yogi Babu, Mansoor Ali Khan and Anandaraj amongst others in the cast. Music for the film will be composed by Vishal Chandrasekhar.
