The actor has flown to the country to shoot for Maatraan
After kicking off the promotions for his forthcoming film, the hugely-hyped 7aum Arivu, Suriya is off to Russia to shoot for K V Anand's Maatraan. The duo had earlier come together for Ayan, which was a blockbuster at the BO. Suriya will be shooting for over 25 days in Russia with the Maatraan unit, which had flown there a few days earlier. The actor is expected to be back in Chennai in time for Diwali, when 7aum Arivu releases. Maatraan has Kajal Aggarwal playing the female lead.
Bollywood actor Sachin Khedekar, who was recently seen in Vikram's Deiva Thiirumagal, plays the villain. Anand's regulars like Harris Jayaraj (music) and Suba (writers) are on board Maatraan along with cinematographer Soundararjan, who was once his associate.
