Suriya and Vetrimaaran's film titled 'Vaadivaasal'?

Suriya has signed up his 40th film with 'Asuran' director Vetrimaaran and the official announcement of it was made a few weeks ago. The latest buzz on the internet among fans is that the film has been titled as 'Vaadivaasal', however an official confirmation about the same is awaited.


According to reports, Suriya will wrap up the shoot of 'Soorarai Pottru' first and then begin work on 'Vaadivaasal'. In the meantime, Vetrimaaran is planning a comedy film with Soori and has also narrated a script to Thalapathy Vijay.

GV Prakash has been roped in to compose the music for this film and it marks the music director's 75th venture in his glorious career. The magical combo of GV Prakash Kumar and Vetrimaaran has delivered several hits like 'Polladhavan', 'Aadukalam', and 'Asuran'. Vetrimaaran made his directorial debut with Dhanush starrer 'Polladhavan' in 2007. Since then he has helmed five films, out of which four featured Dhanush.
