Suriya and
Karthi have said that they will be donating ten lakh rupees for the flood-ravaged Kerala. The duo has also assured financial assistance to
Karnataka for flood relief. Last year, when the flood-hit
Kerala they had given 25 lakhs rupees to the Chief Minister's Flood Relief Fund.
This time, Rajasekar Pandian, who heads 2D Entertainment, Suriya's film production banner, will be handing over the cheque to the CM.
Last year, Karthi had met the Kerala CM, Pinarayi Vijayan, and handed over the cheque.
On the film front, Suriya's Kaappaan, directed by KV Anand will release on September 20. Karthi on the other hand has announed Kaithi, an action thriller under the direction of Lokesh Kanagaraj.
