Suresh Peters heads for B-town!

The singer-composer who has many a hit to boast of down south is all set to hit Bollywood with a bang.
B-town will know him as the voice behind the powerful rendition of Hum Bhi Hai Josh Mein in the Shah Rukh Khan-starrer Josh, and the more recent number, Style, from Sivaji: The Boss. That���s besides the rap portions in many of A R Rahman���s songs that have familiarised him to the masses! And now, singer-composer Suresh Peters, who has considerable fan following down south, is all set to make a big entry into Bollywood.���For all I can tell you at the moment, the film will be an April release,��� and he cuts it at that.
The versatile arranger and programmer in various music genres has frequented Mollywood as a composer only a handful of times. But each time he has been here has been with a bang! Suresh is all set for his next musical outing in Mollywood with director Sandhya Mohan���s Dileep-starrer, Mr Marumakan.
The last time we heard him in Malayalam was in ���Love in Singapore.��� In spite of giving a sure hit with each film where he has scored the music, why is it that Suresh is not heard often in M-town? ���Well, you should be asking the industry this question!��� he quips. ���Probably because I don���t compromise on good sound engineers and studios, if I may give a reason,��� he says, adding, ���Not that I���m pricey for Mollywood!���
Mr Marumakan has five songs that fall into the new age music league. ���I���ve used more of strings in the film. Director Sandhya Mohan was open for experimentation. The album is totally different from what I���ve tried so far in Malayalam,��� says the composer, who has to his credit the hit songs of Punjabi House, Thenkasipattanam, One Man Show, Ravanaprabhu and more.
Suresh informs Kochi Times that Mr Marumakan will be his last release for a while now. ���I���m taking a break of sorts from filmdom soon. One, I���m busy with my upcoming album; and two, I���m busy with A R Rahman���s ongoing world tour. The next one is scheduled in Dubai on December 9.��� His yet-to-be-titled album has 10 songs. ���I���ve incorporated a lot of rock and hip-hop in it. Only the final mix remains to be done. We are yet to finalise on the date for the launch.���
