Dhorai VZ
will come together to make Thalai Nagaram 2. The film was launched today with a puja and the pre-production work is going on in full swing.
So, will this be a continuation of part one? “Not really. It will be a fresh script, but yes, we have retained the title and the character, Right. The film will be a pucca mass action film laced with entertaining elements,” says Dhorai.
The film also has
Yogi Babu and
Thambi Ramaiah in important roles.
Dhorai
says, “Their characters will add weightage to the script. We are also finalising other cast members. There will be three heroines and five villains in the film. All the five villains have different characterisations and we’re looking at including actors from various film industries.”
The team will begin shooting from next month. “The film is set in Chennai and so we will be shooting in and around the city. While we will retain the same technicians as the first part, the composer is yet to be decided,” he signs off.
