Sundar C and Vishal to team up again?

Sundar C and Vishal, who have worked together in films like ‘

Aambala

’ and ‘

Madha Gaja Raja

’, are likely to join hands once again for a yet-untitled film. Though the talks are currently in the nascent stage, reports suggest that the project will be funded by Trident Arts and is said to go on the floors from January 2019.

The news comes after Sundar C recently announced his forthcoming film with Simbu, which is the official remake of the Telugu blockbuster ‘

Attarintiki Daredi

’. To be bankrolled by Lyca Productions, Sundar C is expected to wrap up the project by the end of this year. Sources also say that the yet-untitled remake will hit the screens sometime in January 2019. The film is currently in its pre-production stage.

On the work front, Vishal, who was last seen in the cyber-crime thriller ‘

Irumbu Thirai

’, awaits the release of the entertainer ‘

Sandakozhi 2

’, which is all set to hit the screens on October 18. The actor will also be working with Venkat Mohan and director Lakshmanan of ‘Bogan’ fame. On the other hand, there’s no clarity regarding the release of ‘Madha Gaja Raja’, which was supposed to release back in 2014.
