Sun Pictures acquires Chennaiyil Oru Naal

Radhika Sarathkumar's upcoming production Chennaiyil Oru Naal starring Sarathkumar, Prakash Raj, Cheran has been acquired by Sun Pictures. The film also stars Prasanna, Nassar, Radhika, Rohini, Parvathi Menon and Remya Nambeesan and is set to hit the screens in February.
Sun Pictures haven't distributed any films for a quite a while and the last film they distributed was Vishal starrer Vedi in 2011. Radikaa Sarathkumar tweeted "Sun Pictures acquire Chennaiyil Oru Naal this film is based on a true story. Releasing soon,looking forward.
The tamil remake of the Malayalam film 'Traffic' which revolves around a story of how many stories come together with one pivotal incident. Chennaiyil Oru Naal is a thriller film which is a story conveying message about organ donation written by Bobby and Sanjay.
Interestingly Surya has made a special 'cameo' appearance in the film and the film is simultaneously being made in Kannada and Hindi under the original Malayalam film title 'Traffic'.
