After damp squibs like Pourudu and Vijay, Sumanth, the scion of the Akkineni family is pinning his hopes on his next film, to bounce back into the limelight. To initiate the upturn and silence his detractors, he's chosen a zara haatke film Boni, an action-based-love story. On having become relatively more visible as he is actively promoting his film, Sumanth says cryptically, ���������������������������It's the only time that I mingle with people.��������������������������� And going on to elaborate on his forthcoming film, says ���������������������������It's a nice blend of love and action with loads of fun moments.���������������������������
After playing mostly positive roles, the actor would project his dark side in this action-centric film.
���������������������������I can't reveal much except that the character has some dark shades,��������������������������� he says but quickly reassures, ���������������������������the role will evoke more fun than fear.���������������������������Talking about his co-star and pretty debutant Kriti, he describes her as talented and promising.

The actor is known to be a fitness freak and spends several hours of quality time in the gym. Has he joined the 6-pack club? ���������������������������I have never followed any fad and I am not obsessed with 6 packs. I do have a flat stomach and visit the gym 3 to 4 times a week,��������������������������� he clarifies. One reason for leading a reclusive life, he says is ���������������������������I am not comfortable socializing with strangers, but I do attend the parties of my close friends.��������������������������� With his kin and actors Susanth and Naga Chaitanya joining the fray, the competition seems to be hotting up in his backyard?
