Subiksha's next revolves around youngsters

Actress Subiksha, who is waiting for the release of Vijay Milton's

Kadugu

, has signed her next film titled

Podhu Nalam Karudhi

. The film is directed by Zion, who had earlier worked as an associate director in Dhilluku Dhuddu. Talking about the project, she says, 'The film revolves around three youngsters ' played by Karunakaran, Santhosh and Adith. These three youngsters come to Chennai to make a living and whether or not they succeed forms the crux. I am paired opposite Adith. I play a very bubbly and talkative girl. She comes from a middle-class background. She's quite a smart girl and looks at achieving a lot more in her life.'

The film is set in Chennai and almost 80% of the shoot is completed. 'We are almost done with the talkie portions. The team is planning to shoot some songs in Kerala,' she informs. Meanwhile, she's also busy with Venkatesh's Nethra, which is said to be a heroine-centric film. 'We have completed the Chennai and Karaikudi schedule. Most of the film is set in Canada. We are waiting for our visa and will mostly travel next month to complete the film,' she says.
