'STR 48' makers approach music composer Ravi Basrur!

The makers of 'STR 48' have approached music composer Ravi Basrur for the film. 'STR 48' is the tentative title of actor Simbu's upcoming project, directed by Desingh Periasamy. While the cast and crew of the film are still pending confirmation, there is speculation that Ravi Basrur, known for his work in 'KGF,' may compose the music. However, this news has not been officially confirmed.

Previously, there was a buzz that either GV Prakash Kumar or Anirudh Ravichander would handle the music for the film. However, the latest information suggests that Ravi Basrur is in consideration for the music composition.

In other developments, Ravi Basrur is currently working on the music for Prabhas' 'Salaar.' Meanwhile, the test shooting for 'STR 48' has been successfully completed. Additionally, the actor recently undertook a discreet shoot in Chennai. Simbu is set to portray a dual role in the film, taking on both the protagonist and antagonist roles. The female lead for the movie has yet to be finalized, and it is expected that filming will commence in November. The movie is produced by Kamal Haasan and the official announcement was made in April. Fans are awaiting for more updates from the film.

In other news, Simbu had denied to return the Rs 1 crore against the court order to furnish the amount based on the case against the makers of 'Corona Kumar'.
