Starry audio launch of 'Vamanan'

Traffic outside a multiplex in the city came to a screeching halt on Thursday morning as Kollywood stars got out of their vehicles to mark their presence at the audio launch of Vamanan, starring Jai and debutante Priya Anand.
Every time a star appeared, the crowd went berserk cheering them. Music director Yuvan Shankar Raja, the man of the moment, was visibly excited as the celebrity guests praised the tunes he composed for the film.Interestingly, Bollywood singer Roop Kumar Rathod (remember Venmathi Venmathi from Minnale?), has rendered a song for the movie. Lyricist Na Muthukumar said, ���������������������������This song (Oru Devathai Paarkum...) made me nostalgic and I���������������������������m sure it will be the highlight of the album.���������������������������
Directed by debutant Ahmed (assistant of director Kathir) and produced by Ravindran, Vamanan also stars Lakshmi Rai, Rahman, Urvasi, Delhi Ganesh and Santhanam in important roles. Arvind Krishna handles the camera.
Karthi, who is busy dubbing for Selvaraghavan���������������������������s Aayirathil Oruvan, released the audio CD and said, ���������������������������Ahmed was Surya���������������������������s classmate and I���������������������������m sure he will prove to be another Gautham Menon. The stylish picturisation of Vamanan is proof of his talent. As a producer, Ravindran is also doing Aayirathil Oruvan and for me, this is more like a family function.���������������������������
