Srikanth completes 20 years in Kollywood

It is known that actor Srikanth of 'Parthiban Kanavu' and 'Nanban' fame made his debut in 2002 with 'Roja Kootam' directed by Sasi. The film starring Bhumika as the female lead, turned out to be huge hit giving a boost to Srikanth's career. The handsome actor has completed 20 years in the film industry as 'Roja Kootam' had hit the screens on February 22, 2002. Sharing a poster of his debut film 'Roja Kootam', Srikanth posted, "Feb 22 2002 was the release and birth of me as an actor , I thank Dir Sasi sir and Oscar ravi sir cam Paneerselvam for giving me my identity. 20years of" (sic)Sharing another picture with actress Boomika along with his wife, he posted, "20 years of Rojakootam, thank u boomika for my pair in my very first movie fond memories best co star ever." (sic)Actor Srikanth also won the ITFA Best New Actor Award, which is given by the state government as part of its annual International Tamil Film Awards for Tamil (Kollywood) films. The songs in the film composed by Bharathwaj were all chartbusters as well.
