Actor Vijay is celebrating his 49th birthday today, June 22. The fans have been pouring their wishes on the actor and celebrating the actor's birthday; many theatres in Chennai have reportedly organised multiple fan shows throughout the day. According to reports, a famous theatre in Chennai, located in Koyambedu, has come up with a plan to surprise the fans with the idea of a "Blind date with Thalapathy Vijay".
The theatre is said to play numerous films by Vijay, and the audience will not know the film until the movie is played. Reportedly, the theatre has planned to have Vijay fans watch a famous and good movie by the actor, but the fans will know what movie it is only after they buy the tickets and walk into the screening.
Another theatre in Chennai reportedly retrieved an old projector that screened Vijay's 'Thirumalai' and 'Thulladha Manamum Thullum' and issued tickets for the same. A few more theatres are screening recent Vijay films like 'Mersal' and 'Master'. Celebrating the actor's birthday, the movies are to run in theatres on June 22 and June 23.
