It was quite a surprise for the guests invited to the special screening of the Malayalam film

, an arthouse film set against the backdrop of Carnatic music, recently. For,
Rajinikanth was also part of the audience at this screening, which had been organised by actor and dramatist Y Gee Mahendra, who plays a major role in the film.
The Superstar had come to the screening with his wife Latha and daughter Aishwaryaa Dhanush, and was seen congratulating the film’s director Sethu Eyal and Mahendra, post the screening.
Yesteryear actresses Vyjayanthimala Bali, Rajashree, Sachu, Lakshmi and Vennira Aadai Nirmala were also spotted at this event and they were seen chatting with each other. Acclaimed dancer VP Dhananjayan, playback singers Chitra and Jaya Rajagopalan were the other guests who had made it to the screening.
