Soundararaja credits Obeli N Krishna for the brilliant making, "Krishna has developed the film well, and I play a cop. My role is a complete reflection of Krishna sir's view, and he has constructed a new screenplay by taking the film's one line from the original version 'Mufti'. Krishna anna's team has worked very hard to give the audience a fresh experience."

"I developed great bonding with associate director Senthil and actor Gautham Karthik during the shoot. I know Gautham Karthik from his debut film 'Kadal' days, and he is still the same. I knew about Gautham Karthik and Manjima Mohan's relationship before they made it public," Soundararaja adds.

"I worked for two days with Silambarasan for 'Pathu Thala' and it was a joyous ride. I always love to focus on work rather than worrying about success", says Soundararaja about his experience working with Silambarasan.

"'Pathu Thala' will be different from 'Mufti'. Our film will be a fresh experience even though you have watched it's original," the actor signs off.

Soundararaja will be next seen in 'Raid' as a villain. He is also playing a supporting role in Vimal's upcoming film, and a hero in a yet-to-be-titled film.
