Soundara Raja requests government to help distressed farmers

Actor Soundara Raja, who was last seen in Bigil and Sanga Thamizhan, will next be seen in Karthik Subbaraj’s Dhanush-starrer

. The actor, who shot to fame with Sundarapandiyan, took to Twitter to express his concerns for

farmers

during the lockdown period. He expressed happiness for many places in Tamil Nadu receiving rainfalls and suggested that famers should make use of it. Posting a few pictures of rainfall and banana plantation in poor condition, Raja added that he feels bad for those farmers whose banana cultivation got affected in heavy wind. He also requested government to lend a helping hand to those farmers who suffered loss during the period because of adverse climatic condition.

His post read, “தமிழ் நாட்டின் பல மாவட்டங்களில் அதி வேக காற்று,கோடை மழை பெய்து வருவது மனதிற்கு பெரிய சந்தோசமாக இருக்கிறது. இதை #விவசாயிகள் பயன் படுத்திக்கொள்ள வேண்டும். இன்னொரு பக்கம் வாழை விவசாயங்கள் சேதம் அடைந்தது வருத்தமளிக்கிறது.பெரிய இழப்பு அடைந்த விவசாயிகளுக்கு #அரசு கை கொடுக்க வேண்டும்.”



The actor has been posting pictures of welfare activities carried out by people during coronacrisis and giving awareness video on dos and donts during the crisis.
