We had earlier reported that director PS Vinothraj's upcoming film 'Kottukkaali' starring Soori and Anna Ben in the lead roles, which is produced by Sivakarthikeyan Productions has been selected to for the 74th Berlin International Film Festival in the World Cinema section. The latest is that the film will be premiered on February 16, 2024 at the film festival.
Sharing the same on Instagram, Sivakarthikeyan wrote, "Our film #Kottukkaali, starring the phenomenal @soorimuthuchamy & @benanna_love - directed by @psvinothraj, premieres at the prestigious @berlinale (Berlin International Film Festival) on Feb 16th. Witness a captivating tale unfold on the global stage." (sic).
The film is said to capture the journey of the two characters played by Anna Ben and Soori. It is a film about human emotions, an intense drama. The film apparently will be screened on 16th, 18th, 19th, 20th and 25th of February.
The film is produced by actor Sivakarthikeyan’s Sivakarthikeyan Productions in association with The Little Wave Productions. The technical team includes B Sakthivel handling cinematography, Ganesh Siva handling editing, and Suren G and S Alagia Koothan handling sound design.
