Suriya has a special surprised planned for his fans for the festive occasion of Pongal. The
teaser
of his upcoming film ‘
Soorarai Pottru
’ will be launched on Pongal 2020; while the film’s worldwide theatrical release has been scheduled for summer 2020. The news was confirmed by Rajashekar Pandian of 2D Entertainment at the audio launch of Suriya's brother Karthi's film 'Thambi'.
'Soorarai Pottru' is supposed to be based on the life of Air Deccan founder GR Gopinath, and the post-production work of the film is going on in full swing. Suriya has recorded a rap song for the film, which is titled ‘Maara Theme’ and is composed by GV Prakash Kumar. The much-anticipated track is expected to be launched before the teaser.
