'Soodhu Kavvum 2' shooting wrapped up

The shooting of Mirchi Shiva-starrer 'Soodhu Kavvum 2' with a tagline Naadum Naatu Makkalum, directed by SJ Arjun, has been completely wrapped. The film's producer CV Kumar has also revealed that the film will hit the screens for summer 2024.

The film is said to be a proper sequel to Nalan Kumarasamy’s cult classic 'Soodhu Kavvum', which released in 2013. There will be a lot of elements that connect the first part. Actors from the first film, including Ramesh Thilak, Karunakaran, Sanchita Shetty Radha Ravi, Yog Japee among others will be part of this project.


The technical team has Edwin Louis scoring the music, while cinematography and editing are to be handled respectively by Karthik K Thillai and Ignatious Ashwin.
