Mirchi Shiva-starrer 'Soodhu Kavvum 2' with a tagline Naadum Naatu Makkalum, directed by SJ Arjun, is nearing completion. The film is a proper sequel to Nalan Kumarasamy’s cult classic 'Soodhu Kavvum', which released in 2013.
There will be a lot of elements that connect the first part. Actors from the first film, including Ramesh Thilak, Karunakaran, Radha Ravi, Yog Japee among others will be part of this project. Sharing a few shooting spot stills, the film's production house posted, "shoot spot clicks of most expecting sequel #Soodhukavvum 2 The Dark Comedy staring @mirchishiva2 @actorkaruna1 and others nearing Completion"
The technical team has Edwin Louis scoring the music, while cinematography and editing are to be handled respectively by Karthik K Thillai and Ignatious Ashwin.
