SJ Suryah is going through a purple patch as an actor. The director-turned-actor has a busy schedule, working in a number of films in Kollywood. The latest news is that SJ Suryah will be replacing Arvind Swamy in the Telugu remake of ‘Bogan’.
After a stellar performance in ‘Iraivi’, he has done the lead role in director Selvaraghavan’s ‘Nenjam Marappathillai’ which is ready for release.

He is playing the lead villain in AR Muragadoss’s bilingual ‘Spyder’ which has Mahesh Babu and Rakul Preet Singh. The ‘Kushi’ director is also playing a vital role in Thalapathy Vijay’s much-awaited ‘Mersal’ and ‘Maaya’ fame Ashwin Saravanan’s ‘Iravakaalam’.
The Telugu remake of ‘Bogan’ will have Ravi Teja playing Jayam Ravi’s character. The film will also see ‘Madras girl Catherine Tresa playing the female lead. The film is being directed by Lakshman, who directed the Tamil version.
