, which hit screens on May 17, has won over critics and audiences and is running successfully in theatres. The film, directed by Nelson Venkatesan, has particularly appealed to children who are enjoying the exploits of the rat, which plays a crucial role in the film.

The team had met the press today to celebrate their success. Speaking at the event, SJ Suryah said, "I'm glad that the film has collected more money in its second weekend than in the first weekend. At a time when people come to theatres looking at who the hero is, it makes me happy that they are also watching films in theatres if the story is good. Yes, this film's hero is its story."

He added, "I went to many theatres to check out the response. From grandparents to grandchildren, families are coming to watch the film. One kid called me 'Monster mama'. I have shared his pic on my Tritter page, too. Seeing such reactions, I'm planning to act in such quality films for the next 10 years. I'm happy that the film is drawing audiences, like Bahubali did."
