Sivakarthikeyan’s Velaikkaran postponed

The release of Sivakarthikeyan’s upcoming big budget Velaikkaran has been pushed to Pooja Holidays. The film was slated to hit screens on Vinayagar Chathurthi, but now has got postponed to September 29 according to a report.
The film is directed by Mohan Raja and is said to be an action thriller. The film is said to revolve around a young man who takes on food adulteration.An official statement from the production house read, “We are pleased to inform that our prestigious venture Velaikkaran starring SivaKarthikeyan, Nayanthara, Fahadh Faasil and others, directed by Mohan Raja, will be released on 29th September 2017, on the request from the distributors. The first look will be released on 5th June 2017. Soliciting your support always”.
