Goundamani and Tamil movies buffs couldn't contain their excitement as the former shared a pic on his social media page. In the comments section of the post, fans commented about their excitement in seeing the duo together. Sivakarthikeyan, too, was brimming with excitement, meeting the legendary comedian in person. Sharing the photograph on his social media page, Sivakarthikeyan wrote, "With the legend #GoundamaniSir A great moment with lots of fun and a day to be remembered (sic)." And Sivakarthikeyan's post really showed his admiration and respect for the veteran actor.
Goundamani was last seen in films in 2016. That year, he had appeared in two films - 'Enakku Veru Engum Kilaigal Kidayathu' and 'Vaaimai'. On other hand, Sivakarthikeyan is busy with back-to-back projects. While his films 'Doctor' and 'Ayalaan' have reportedly completed work, the shooting of his latest film, 'Don', is in progress. Recently, the shooting of the film made headlines when it was reported that the film's crew was fined for shooting without permission. Meanwhile, there's also a lot of buzz that Sivakarthikeyan will be penning lyrics for one song in Vijay's 'Beast', directed by Nelson Dilipkumar. Sivakarthikeyan's close buddy from the industry, Anirudh, is the music composer of the film. Interestingly, Nelson, Sivakarthikeyan and Anirudh have worked together in 'Doctor'.
