After completing the shoot of ‘Prince’, Sivakarthikeyan has now begun the work for his next film ‘Maaveeran’, which is directed by Madonne Ashwin.
The film went on floors on August 4, and after the customary pujah with the entire cast and crew of the film, the movie makers shared images from the event. The images from the muhurat pujah are going viral on social media. ‘Maaveeran’ has Sivakarthikeyan and Aditi Shankar in the lead roles.
The production house took to Twitter to share the photos and they wrote, "#Maaveeran / #Mahaveerudu shoot began yesterday. Thank you @shankarshanmugh for gracing us with your presence!” Watch the post here!

Aditi Shankar, is the daughter of the veteran director Shankar, and ‘Maaveeran’ is her second film. She is marking her debut with the film ‘Viruman’ playing alongside Karthi which will be released on August 12. Director Shankar was also present at the movie launch and he wished the team a success.
The movie also features director Mysskin playing the antagonist, and Yogi Babu, and Saritha in pivotal roles. The music for the movie is composed by Bharath Sankar. Meanwhile, on the other hand, after ‘Don’, Sivakarthikeyan shot for his next bilingual film helmed by KV Anudeep titled ‘Prince’. The film is set to release for Diwali this year and the movie makers have made the official announcement.
