It is out that
Sivakarthikeyan and Ponram, who had teamed up earlier for successful films Varuthapadatha Valibar Sangam and Rajini Murugan are joining hands for the third time. We also know that Soori, who was seen as an aide to the characters played by Siva in both those films, will essay a crucial role in this film, too. What we now have is an update from Ponram, who tells us that the film, unlike the duo's early outings, will have plenty of action scenes.
'While comedy was the USP in Varuthapadatha Valibar Sangam, it was family bonding and emotions in Rajini Murugan. This time, we have decided to include ample action scenes considering Siva's mass-hero image is on a rise. Post Remo, Siva will be acting in a Mohan Raja film, and once it is completed, he will be a part of my project. The discussions regarding the rest of the cast are on now. This one, too, will be set against the backdrop of a small town, and will be a thorough entertainer with all the commercial ingredients,' informs the director.
The makers will also retain most of the crew who were associated in Siva-Ponram's previous two films. The untitled project, which is likely to go on floors in January, has been slated for a Deepavali 2017 release.
