Singer Shweta Pandit turns actress

Singer Shweta Pandit now has a new role to play in the industry. Yes, the girl has turned actress with Bejoy Nambiar���s bilingual, David. She will be seen alongside Jiiva and Vinay Virmani in the Tamil and Hindi versions of the film.
Says Shweta, ���I���ve liked Bejoy���s works, and loved how every character has its own importance in his films. In Shaitan especially, every actor had something interesting to do.So, when he approached me with a role in his next, I agreed to be part of it without any hesitation.���
The girl has been shooting simultaneously for both Tamil and Hindi versions in Mumbai. ���It���s been a hectic schedule till now. I���ve been shooting with both Jiiva and Vinay, and I���m totally in awe of them. The two are fantastic actors. I also got to work with Nasser sir in this film,��� she smiles.
Quiz her about her role, and she says, ���The film comprises three stories, and I���m part of one of them. It���s about a musician, David (Jiiva and Vinay in this case), and how life changes for him within a span of time. I have an important role to play in David���s life and though I���m also a musician, my character is not just that!���
Given that Shweta has sung in Tamil, the most recent one being for an Ajith film, ask her if mouthing dialogues in Tamil came easy to her and she laughs, ���I���m a musician and singing comes naturally to me. But I���m having to work harder to get the lines right in Tamil!���
