Simran made her comeback, she has been quite choosy about her roles. The actress was seen in a couple of films, in cameo appearances. And now, we learn that she has been signed on to play a pivotal role in
Arvind Swami’s upcoming film, which is being directed by Selva. A source close to the unit says, “Simran has been roped in to play the role of a cop. Her role is quite challenging as it will have interesting shades. The shoot for the film will begin from today.” The source also adds that the team is yet to finalise the title and announcements will be made soon. The film has Ritika Singh,
Nandita
Swetha and
Chandini
in the lead roles. Interestingly, Nandita also plays a cop in the film. Music director
Imman
has been roped in to score music for the film.
