Simran has a new friend. And no, it���������s nobody from Kollywood! The actress bonded big time with Hollywood actress and Oscar-winner Hilary Swank at the recently-concluded IIFA at Toronto.
The Tamil actress, who was invited to the IIFA to present an award, was backstage when she got an opportunity to catch up with Hilary. ���������She (Hilary) was very sweet and humble ,��������� Simran told CT, ���������We were chatting about cinema and she was curious to know more about India and the various cultures that co-exist here.I told her that there���������s more to Indian cinema than Bollywood and she was keen on knowing more about the other film industries in our country.���������
Hilary has promised to keep in touch with the Vaali actress on a regular basis. ���������We spent quality time discussing cinema at the event, but the most fascinating thing about her was that she promised to be in touch so that she gets to understand Indian cinema better,��������� she added.
The Million Dollar Baby actress is said to have a special liking for movies made in India. ���������Hollywood and Indian cinema have to bring people together,��������� Hilary said at the IIFA, adding, ���������I think Indian films are a lot of fun and are passionate.���������
