Simran joins Ponram-Siva’s next

Actress Simran, who was last seen in Koditta Idangalai Nirappuga, will be seen in director Ponram and actor Sivakarthikeyan’s next. Though the actress didn’t divulge too much information about her role, Simran says that she’s pretty kicked about joining the team. She says, “I am really excited to be working with this cast. It has big names like Siva and Samantha. And of course, director Ponram, who has given hits in the past. We are shooting for the film in Kuttralam and in Tenkasi as of now. There will also be scope for humour like Ponram’s earlier films. I play a powerful role and will be seen throughout the film. I am looking forward to shooting with them.” The film also sees Napoleon playing an important role. For comic relief, Ponram has cast Soori, Rajendran and Yogi Babu. The music will be scored by D Imman. Simran is also part of Vanangamudi, which has Arvind Swami, Ritika Singh and Nandita Swetha in the lead.
