The shooting of Simbu and
Gautham Karthik's upcoming film, which is being directed by Narathan, has been progressing at a brisk pace over last few weeks. The film is a remake of Kannada film 'Mufti' that had Sivarajkumar and Sri Murali in the lead. Narathan had helmed the Kannada film, too. The latest is that the first schedule of shooting of the film has been completed.
The action-thriller has one of them playing the role of a cop and another actor as an underworld don.
KE Gnanavel Raja is producing the film, under Studio Green.
Gautham Karthik posted, "And that's a schedule wrap! Time to go home, relax and plan our next schedule and get back to work asap! 😁😁😁" (sic)
Despite the changing weather, the team had been shooting non-stop. Gautham posted a picture with Simbu and tweeted, "No matter, heavy winds, scorching heat, pouring rain or dust clouds, all of which we faced today. We keep on moving forward, always forward. Under the direction of #Narthan sir, the Show goes on!" (sic)
