This is how Simbu first reacted when he heard the script of 'STR 48' from Desingh Periyasamy

Actor Simbu was last seen in the Tamil film 'Pathu Thala' which was directed by Obeli N Krishna. Following that he signed up for his next movie with director Desingh Periyasamy which is tentatively called 'STR 48'. The film's announcement happened last year and it is still in the pre-production. The shooting for the movie is yet to begin and actor Simbu is gearing up himself with a new look and body for the film.


The curiosity and excitement among the movie audience is high since the film 's announcement and it piqued after the first looks of the film was launched earlier this month on Simbu's birthday, With the shooting all set to begin, Simbu had taken an intense training session with celebrity trainer Sandeep Raj.


Speaking to the YouTube regional channel Galatta, Sandeep Raj said that Simbu is in perfect shape and is excited about his body canvas. He added that the film will have Simbu playing in a dual role and said that Simbu was very excited when he first heard the story script and narration from Desingh Periyasamy. He said that the movie is worth the wait and added that Simbu is perfect for the dual role and he is doing a lot to get there.


In the first look that was launched Simbu embraced a look with long hair and his face covered in scar as he stood amidst a bloody battlefield. The makers are yet to reveal the cast and crew of the film.
