It’s a well-known fact that Simbu is a multifaceted artist. At an early stage of his career, Silambarasan co-directed the psychological thriller ‘Manmadhan’, which was a blockbuster success. Apart from acting, Simbu is equally popular for his singing talent and has sung several chartbusters like ‘Loosu Penne’, ‘Evandi Unna Pethan’ and ‘Manasellam’ to name a few.
As per the latest buzz, the ‘Vinnaithaandi Varuvaaya’ star has made his singing debut in Kannada cinema. Yes, you heard it right! Simbu has crooned to a song in the upcoming ‘Iruvudellava Bittu’, which is being directed by Kantha Kanali.
Apparently, Simbu asked for the meaning of every word before he started recording for the song. Starring Meghana Raj and Tilak Sundar in the lead, the film is slated to release this month. It must be noted that Simbu has become quite popular in Karnataka after he urged Kannada people to give a glass of water to fellow Tamilians living in Bangalore.
On the work front, Simbu is currently shooting for his forthcoming film with ace filmmaker
Mani Ratnam’s ‘Chekka Chivantha Vaanam’, which is expected to release this year.
