Simbu, Anirudh contradict each other

The furore over the controversial Beep Song is gathering steam and an FIR has been filed by the Coimbatore police against Simbu and Anirudh following a petition submitted by the All India Democratic Women's Association.Meanwhile, the actor and the composer are contradicting each other regarding their involvement in the song.
Anirudh, who is in Toronto for a concert, issued a press release, in which he claimed that he is in no way connected to the song.���It is neither my composition nor my lyrics and I am not the singer. I wish to state my innocence in this matter categorically .Unfortunately , and to my dismay , my name has been unnecessarily dragged into this controversy even though I am not in any way connected. I wish to reiterate I have the greatest regard and respect for women,��� he said in his statement.
However, Simbu's father, T Rajhendherr, maintained that the song was composed by Anirudh. In a complaint lodged with the cyber crime police on Simbu's behalf, he said, ���The music track which was uploaded in the YouTube and circulated widely through whatsup which contains a rough composed track with dummy words without a proper lyric along with some interpolated words which were not used by my son or the composer at the time of composing the said music. The said music was actually composed by the music director Mr. Aniruth as a rough one and subsequently deserted (sic).���
He also requested the cops to ���initiate immediate action and find out the culprit who has circulated the rough composed music with interpolated words to defame my son's name, image and reputation���.
But in an interview to Chennai Times, Simbu had said, ��� Anirudh and I composed this song a year-and-a-half ago, and we planned to change the lyrics to something like Enna Dash'ku Love Panrom before releasing it.���
Looks like this is one controversy that isn't going to die soon.
