Silambarasan TR to start shooting for Pathu Thala by May end

Actor Silambarasan TR, who was expected to start shooting for his upcoming film 'Pathu Thala' earlier in March, is now expected to soon begin shooting for his portion in the film, which is the Tamil remake of 'Mufti'. Directed by director Obeli N Krishna of Sillunnu Oru Kadhal fame, Silambarasan aka Simbu will be sharing screen space with Gautham Karthik in the film.
While Gautham Karthik's portions in the film have been completed, Simbu's portions are yet to be completed along with his combination scenes with Gautham Karthik. Reports are that Silambarasan will begin shooting from May 27 and the over a month long scheduled is being planned to be wrapped up by the first week of July.
Silambarasan will be seen as a gangster in the film and Gautham Karthik will play a cop. The Tamil remake will also star Priya Bhavani Shankar, Madras fame Kalaiarasan, Manushiyaputhiran and Asuran fame Teejay. The film also marks the reunion of the director with AR Rahman 15 years after Sillunu Oru Kadhal.
