Director N Rajasekar, known for films like 'Mappillai Singam' and 'Kalathil Santhipom', has helmed a new project titled 'Miss You'. This film features Siddharth and Ashika Ranganath in the lead roles. The press meet of 'Miss You' was held in Chennai yesterday (Dec 5), where Siddharth addressed various topics, including his current involvement in Tamil cinema and personal milestones. However, Siddharth's mocking reply to questions from the media has stirred up the debate. When questioned about his presence in Tamil cinema, Siddharth emphasized that he is very much active in Tamil cinema, contrary to some perceptions. Referring to his recent success with 'Chithha' and his role in the highly anticipated 'Indian 2' alongside Kamal Haasan and directed by Shankar, Siddharth asserted that he continues to contribute significantly to the industry. He humorously pointed out how discussions about his Tamil projects are more vibrant at home than in public forums.

Siddharth expressed joy over his recent marriage to actress Aditi Rao Hydari. He noted the positivity it brought to his life amidst a social climate often dominated by discussions of separations and divorces. He shared that their marriage has been a happy and blessed experience. Siddharth then revealed about his upcoming projects and said that he has three films lined up for release next year, reaffirming his commitment to Tamil cinema.

'Miss You' is a romantic thriller, and the film also has JP, Ponvannan, Karunakaran, Narain, Anupama, Rama, Bala Saravanan, and Maran alongside the lead stars Siddharth and Ashika Ranganath. Initially scheduled for November 29, the release was postponed to December 13 due to weather-related disruptions in Tamil Nadu.
