Sid Sriram to make his acting debut?, details inside

Playback singer Sid Sriram made his debut in the film industry for singing through the film ‘Kadal’ which was directed by Mani Ratnam. Later a separate fan base was formed for his voice after his song ‘Ennodu Nee Irundhal’ from the Shankar movie ‘I’. Sid Sriram has also won the Filmfare Best Playback Singer Award. He became a national fame after his song ‘Inkem Inkem Kavale’ in ‘Geetha Govindham’.The singer is very much famous and popular in Tamil and Telugu music industry.
The recent buzz is that Sid Sriram is making his debut as an actor in Mani Ratnam’s direction. Media reports stated that the singer will be playing a lead role in Mani Ratnam’s new film. It is also alleged that the writing and screenplay for the movie is done by Jayamohan. There has been no official confirmation yet.
Sid Sriram fans are highly excited to know if he is making his debut in acting. Mani Ratnam is currently working on his magnum opus ‘Ponniyin Selvan’ which stars Vikram, Jayam Ravi, Karthi, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Trisha, Jayaram, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Vikram Prabhu, Prakash Raj among others.
