The shooting of new films and a few projects which was left uncompleted kicked off recently after the state government granted permission to Kollywood to go on floors with 75-member crew. Kabadadaari, starring

Sibiraj

and directed by Pradeep Krishnamoorthy, was one project which started shooting again to finish off the pending portions. The team finally wrapped up the shooting on Tuesday.

Dhananjayan Govind

, who last bankrolled Vijay Antony-starrer Kolaigaran, has produced

Kabadadaari

which was simultaneously shot in Telugu as well. A press release issued by the team said that the crew, which had less than 70 members, shot the pending portions in the outskirts of Chennai in the last few days.

The recently shot sequence had Sibiraj, Jayaprakash and other artistes performing in it. The team is waiting for theatres to open to decide on the film’s release date, though they are mulling over the movie hitting screens on November. Dhananjayan has penned the screenplay of the film, along with John Mahendan and Hemanth Rao.

Nandita Swetha plays female lead in the project which has Nasser playing a crucial role. Rasamathi cranks camera for the film which has Simon K King composing music.
