Sibi Sathyaraj: Eternally grateful about appa's 43 years of journey in the Indian film industry

It's been 43 years since veteran Kollywood actor Sathyaraj made his on-screen debut. Today, his debut film 'Sattam En Kayyil' completes 43 years since its release. The film, which stars Kamal Haasan and Sripriya in the lead roles, was released on July 14, 1978. The action film was directed by TN Balu. It was later remade in Hindi as 'Ye To Kamaal Ho Gaya'. Now, Sathyaraj's son, actor Sibi, took to his social media page to share a pic that showcases different characters played by the veteran actor over the years.
While sharing the collage, Sibi also thanks everyone and says he's eternally grateful about his dad's journey in the Indian film industry. He writes, "Celebrating 43 years of Puratchi Thamzihan! Eternally grateful for appa's wonderful journey in Indian Cinema. Thank you all (sic)." Sathyaraj, over the years, have won the hearts of scores of film buffs. 'Kattappa' from Baahubali is one among his movie characters from the recent past that is etched in the minds of his fans.

Sathyaraj has a couple of upcoming projects, including the action thriller, 'Theerpugal Virkapadum'. He is said to be playing the solo hero in this film with Smruthi Venkat and Harish Uthaman playing important roles.
