Shruti Reddy plays lawyer in Natty’s Visaranai Kaithi

Shruti Reddy, known for her performance in Marina Puratchi, is quite upbeat about her next. The actress is currently working on a project titled Visaranai Kaithi, which features Natty in the lead role.
Talking about the project, Shruti says, “I play the role of a lawyer in the film and it’s an intense one. The film deals with an important social issue that also touches upon the mysterious murder cases of political leaders in the country.My character will be fighting for justice for the protagonist, who will be arrested following a murder incident. ”
Shruti says there are many intense courtroom sequences, which also feature acclaimed filmmaker Prabu Solomon. Directed by Jaya Prakash, the makers have completed the first schedule of the film. “Major portions of the film have been shot in Thoothukudi and Chennai. I am yet to shoot with Natty sir as other sequences are being filmed now,” Shruti says.
Shruti is also working on another film directed by Rajkumar of Annanukku Jai fame. “I can’t reveal much detail about the project as of now,” she says.
