Shruthi joins Jiiva-Simhaa's next project

Bangalore girl Shruthi Ramakrishna joins the cast of Deekay's next, Kavalai Vendam. The actress, who was last seen in 144 opposite Ashok Selvan, will be playing an interesting role in Deekay's film.
'Like his earlier film, this one's a fun entertainer. I am not paired opposite anyone in the film, but my character comes in when there's so much drama going on.I play a modern girl,' says Shruthi. The film stars Jiiva, Kajal Aggarwal and Bobby Simhaa in the lead. 'I will begin shoot for my portions in Coonoor from this month end,' she informs.
Shruthi also has Sigai with Kathir in the lead. She says, 'I am not allowed to reveal anything about my role. The subject of this film is very different. I asked my director if I should do any homework for my role, but he wanted me to come unprepared. He explains what the shot is to me on the set. I am completely a director's actor, and am looking forward to the next schedule in February.'
