His upcoming film Boomerang, directed by
Kannan and co-starring
Megha Akash, Indhuja and
RJ Balaji, might be a social adventure, but Atharvaa says he had fun while shooting for the film, especially the songs.
He tells us, “We shot one of the songs in Andaman. We were supposed to shoot near the beaches and wrap up the whole schedule in a few days. But the weather there is unpredictable.
We don’t know when it would rain and when the sun would shine bright. So, the day we were to shoot, it rained like crazy. We didn’t know how to go about the shoot because it was kind of spoiling the setting. Every time we started to shoot, it would start raining. I think we wasted about two days because of rain. So, we shot the entire song in just a day and a half. Brinda master had choreographed the number and we didn’t know how it was coming out. I saw the song only recently, and I’m super happy with how it’s come out.”
Atharvaa is one of the youngest actors to have a massive fan following. Quiz him about the attention he gets, and he says, “It feels nice when someone likes your work or adores you. This gives you added responsibility to keep them entertained.”
